From the Collection of a serious Jazz music lover.Original 1956 Canadian pressing of this LP
Deep Groove on the label.
Certainly what makes this item interesting is the SIGNATURES of DUKE ELLINGTON as well as JOHNNY HODGES on the back cover. Very nice to have them both in one place. Signatures are clear, written in pen, and definitely Genuine. They were obtained in the 1960s, as the former owner of this LP was a member of the Duke Ellington society and met Duke here in Canada on many occasions. Please consult other images of Ellington and Hodges signatures on the internet to see that they are indeed real.
Also has other band members signatures. Present are RUSSELL PROCOPE, QUENTIN JACKSON and WILLIE COOK.
The signatures show no problems at all. All are clear and present beautifully.
Vinyl is NEAR MINT with no problems to speak of, and the Covers is also NEAR MINT.
