L'intégrale de l'oeuvre de Duke Ellington et son orchestre publiée chez RCA en 5 coffrets cartonnés (légèrement frottés) contenant 24 volumes. Les volumes sont dans leurs pochettes cartonnées avec étuis. Ils contiennent chaque enregistrement que le Duke a fait avec son Orchestre, entre 1927 et 1952 pour RCA Victor avec au dos, des notices d'albums détaillées en anglais et en français. C'est un très bel ensemble, une collection unique, une fantastique anthologie pour ceux qui désirent se familiariser avec la production vaste et incroyable d'un des plus grand compositeur historique du jazz. Les disques sont tous en très bon état, pratiquement exempts de la moindre rayure. (La qualité phonographique de certaines reproductions repiquées sur 78 tours s'accompagnent eux de bruits de surfaces caractéristiques). Ce sont des vynils, il faut donc en prendre grand soin, c'est pourquoi je livre avec cet ensemble exceptionel, une copie de sauvegarde en MP3 de l'ensemble des volumes.J'ai sélectionné quelques extraits que vous pouvez écouter en streaming.
