Description

Yvonne Lefebure plays the Diabelli Variatons of Beethoven for piano solo, op. 120. One of the rarest Lefebure records. Stunning performance!!!

Ducretet Thomson original. Made in France. Cat. 270 C 106. Cover EX + (minor shelf and ringwear and a sign of a very small sticker on the front of the cover.). Record VG+ (The record has 10 small pressing faults that cause for four minutes in the background soft dull tics, like a "heartbeat". For one minute it is almost inaudible. No distortion in sound and still enjoyable. Now and then soft cracles due its age of pressing. The crackles will benefit from more playing. The second time I played the record it gives already an improvement).

The record is graded with the combination Hadcock/ Grado reference MM stereo cartridge. This combination is very sensitive to marks and backgroudnoises (in general much more sensitive than any combination with a MC stereo cartridge). Probably with a with a mono cartridge the  "crackles" are disapeared, anyway almost inaudible
