On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Dr. Strangely Strange called 'Kip Of The Serenes' and is a 1969 Stereo UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Island label!!!! THIS HAS TO BE REGARDED AS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE ISLAND LABEL!!!!  THIS IS A MASSIVE RARITY AND INCREDIBLY RARE IN EVERY RESPECT!!!! THIS IS THE 1969 MONO 1ST PRESSING WITH THE 1ST PRESS ISLAND 'CIRCLE' LOGO AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' COVER!!!!   THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP IN EVERY RESPECT - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!!  This is an ORIGINAL Island UK Stereo 1st pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9106 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Island Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Dr. Strangely Strange at their best!!!! Any fan of Dr. Strangely Strange, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! However although the record looks BRILLIANT the record curiously plays with some surface noise in places (NOT hiss - more like background crackle) and a few clicks/pops in places (NO jumps) - though I cannot see ANY reason for this (even under light).  The surface noise does vary from track to track - some have NO surface noise, and some do - but it is not particularly loud and certainly the record plays well enough.  I cannot see any reason for this - so perhaps the record has been stored incorrectly?  Or maybe badly cleaned at some point? Perhaps it may even benefit from a decent clean? Even so this is a SERIOUSLY rare  LP and VERY tough to find!!!!  The record plays with NO sticking, NO jumps and NO hiss and the record plays though fine. The record must grade visually Very Good++ if not better - though the playing grade is less than this for the reasons stated above. Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press E.J.Day Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear  (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), NO rubbing (MEGA rare on this cover) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND WHILST THIS COPY ISNT MINT (THOUGH THE COVER IS SUPERB) - THIS IS STILL AN AMAZINGLY RARE LP IN EVERY RESPECT!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
