Description

Very rare original 1968 US monaural pressing of the first Dr.John LP; ATCO 33-234.

It's getting pretty tough to find a clean orig stereo copy of this, and the mono is virtually impossible to find- especially in nice shape... Mono version was deleted almost immediately upon release, making it very sought-after. The mix is loud and punchy; much more 'oomph' than the stereo.

This copy is really beautiful...

Ex-to-NM cover is almost perfect, with just a tiny corner ding and a little light ringwear on rear (see photo's). Perfect seams.

Orig ATCO inner sleeve.

I don't hesitate to grade the vinyl at NM. Very clean and shiny. Looks as-new. Labels are perfect except for sml initials written on one (see pic). No spindle-marks that I could see. May have been unplayed until I gave it a quick spot-playing to test the fidelity. Sounds amazing.

Final upgrade copy, for sure...

Please fear not when buying from me- I worked at a record shop for years, so I know how to grade records; and I've been buying through the mail for even longer, so I know how to package them as well...
