SS Still Sealed - in factory-fresh condition
M Mint - Not sealed but unplayed
M- Mint Minus - a near perfect, probably unplayed record
VG+ Very Good Plus close to like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play.
VG Very Good - a used copy with some obvious signs of wear and maybe light surface noise during quiet passages, but still a good play.
VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually some surface noise.
G - Good. OK if you just want to have the record for your collection.
