Description

Beautiful original 1973 promo copy of the Doug Sahm and Band LP on Atlantic SD-7254. Promo sticker on the front, and original Broadway labels. Classic Doug Sahm featuring appearances by Bob Dylan, Dr. John, David Bromberg, bluegrass mandolinist Andy Statman, and a bunch of others. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There are a few of those superficial streaks that sometimes appear on vinyl over time as a result of being stored in an acidic paper sleeve, but they are not wear or damage of any sort. Really a perfect playing beauty. The wonderful Gilbert Shelton (of Freak Brothers fame) cover has a surface tear Juat above the trumpet player to the left of the promo sticker, but otherwise there are only the slightest signs of gentle use. Really a beautiful copy inside and out. Hard to beat.
