On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Doors called 'The Doors' and is a MEGA RARE 1967 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER!!!!  WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL THOUGH - IS THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' UK 1ST MONO PRESSING!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1967, ELEKTRA HADNT STARTED UK PRODUCTION OF ANY OF THEIR COVERS.  AS A RESULT ALL UK 1ST PRESSED ELEKTRA LPS HAD U.S. IMPORTED COVERS.  THIS WAS CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS LP WAS 1ST RELEASED (WHEN ELEKTRA STARTED MAKING UK COVERS) AND IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ONE OF THESE 'EARLIEST' POSSIBLE 1ST MONO PRESSINGS WITH A U.S. COVER!!!!  ANOTHER INDICATION OF JUST HOW EARLY THIS MONO 1ST PRESSING ACTUALLY IS - IS THAT THE LABELS ARE FULLY TEXTURED!!!!  THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE - AND THIS AGAIN WAS CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE TO THE 'SEMI' TEXTURED ELEKTRA LABEL.  IT IS EXTREMELY RARE INDEED TO FIND ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1967 MONO 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LEGENDARY LP!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP PLAYS SUPERBLY WITH CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED MONO SOUND AND IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1967 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 1ST PRESS 'FULLY TEXTURED' ORANGE ELEKTRA LABELS, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Elektra UK MONO 1st pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EKL 4007 on the ORIGINAL 'FULLY textured' Elektra Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Doors at their best!!!! Any fan of The Doors, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition and plays SUPERBLY!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only a VERY few light clicks/pops (only a VERY few), NO sticking, NO jumps, and virtually ZERO crackle!!!! Even the gaps and run on grooves are virtually SILENT!!!!  There is NO distortion either and the music plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR sound!!!!  The record must grade visually Very Good+ if not better with the playing grade better still!!!!  THIS RECORD PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents applied for' inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The 'Earliest' 1st Press MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!!  There is also some light rubbing to the back/front of the cover - but I must stress that it is LIGHT and MILES better than most!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS REALLY IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS AN 'EARLIEST' UK 1ST MONO PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
