DONOVAN Hurdy Gurdy Man LP Yellow Epic BN 26420 1968 1st Press IN SHRINK VG+/EX
Up for sale is a stunning, investment-grade copy of Donovan's psychedelic masterpiece, The Hurdy Gurdy Man.
This is an authentic 1968 US first pressing sourced from the legendary Columbia Records Terre Haute pressing plant. It remains beautifully preserved by its original vintage factory shrink wrap and has been played exactly twice since 1968.

Side 1 Stamped: XSB137970-1B | (followed by 1/I and a capital T)
Side 2 Stamped: XSB137971-1C | (followed by 1/I and a capital T)(The "T" denotes the historical Columbia Terre Haute plant).
Detailed Condition Grading:
Vinyl: Very Good Plus (VG+ / Strong)
The disc looks incredible, retaining its radiant, deep factory gloss. Played only twice. Audio is exceptionally clean, crisp, and quiet throughout.
Condition Note:
Side two features a few very narrow, completely inaudible hairline scuffs/sleeve sweeps. These are strictly cosmetic, only visible when tilted directly under bright raking light, and were caused by the original paper inner sleeve.
They do not affect playback whatsoever. The bright yellow Epic labels are pristine with zero spindle wear.
Jacket: Near Mint Minus (NM-)
Still housed in its crisp, clear original factory shrink wrap. The jacket structures, colors, and spine are incredibly sharp and well-preserved.
Flaw Note: There is a minor blunted/indented area on the front left corner extending in an arc about 1.5 inches. This imperfection is completely non-color breaking and is primarily visible only when viewed with side-lighting. Aside from this single artifact, the sleeve is immaculate.
