Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1984 pressing of Don Henley’s Building the Perfect Beast LP on Geffen GHS-24026. This was one of his biggest post-Eagles albums, a classic in its own right. Still in the shrinkwrap with the rare hype sticker, and even with an original Tower Records price sticker! That alone is something of a collectors item. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. I played it to be sure it was a perfect player, and I think I’m the only one to ever play it. The person I got it from said he opened it when it was new but never got his record player fixed and so never once played it. Anyhow it’s a perfect player. There are some of those superficial spots that sometimes get on a record over time from the acid in the paper sleeve, but it is NOT damage or wear of any kind. It can happen to a record that has never been opened. Anyhow it is nothing; this is pretty much a perfect disc. The cover is likewise nearly pristine, with a touch of very light wear at the open edge. An absolutely beautiful original, near impossible to beat.
