Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Pink Shoelaces" - by Dodie Stevens on the DOT Record label (DLP 25371), in beautiful original Stereophonic sound, issued in 1961.
CONDITION: JACKET - VG++(Jacket has very light rub wear and very light aging; NOTE: Includes the original inner sleeve in Near Mint condition as well - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl is beautiful with only a couple of extremely light scuffs - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Rare original "Ultra Stereophonic" copy of one of Dodie Stevens' three Dot albums; both vinyl and jacket are in superb condition, as is the original inner sleeve; if you enjoy music that comes from the very heart of early Sixties female vocal rock'n'roll, then please don't miss this one - a great record at a fair price.
TRACKS: Pink Shoelaces, The Five Pennies, Poor Butterfly, No, Yes I'm Lonesome Tonight, Am I Too Young To Love, Turn Around, Just a Dream, Rockin' Robin, I Fall to Pieces, To Know Him Is to Love Him, and Mairzy Doats. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck.
OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
