This is the MEGA-RARE UNCENSORED FIRST PRESSING of Vancouver Punk legends D.O.A.'s EP " Triumph of the Ignoroids " released on Friends Records in 1978 with the rare black and white paper picture sleeve that features a picture of Margaret Trudeau (wife of then Canada Prime Minister Pierre-Elliot Trudeau) exposing her genitalia (E-MAIL ME IF YOU WANT THE COMPLETE PICTURE. EBAY FORCES ME TO CENSOR IT , OTHERWISE I’LL HAVE TO LIST IT IN THE ADULTS SECTION!) and the band's copyright info on the back! First pressing also featured these messages etched in the dead wax of the vinyl " The Pointed Sticks are "Out of Luck" " and " Cause D.O.A. is "The Real Thing" " and number 3462 (only the first two pressings have this number). Only 1 000 COPIES of this RARE first pressing were ever made. The band released it in Vancouver and left for their first U.S. tour and the albums were sold out by the time they played California! E.P. was recorded on Junew 23 1978 at the first Georgia Straight Battle of the Bands, which featured D.O.A. and the Pointed Sticks (D.O.A. won!). By then, D.O.A. was: Joe S**thead on guitar and vocals, bass player Randy Rampage (who also sang for Canadian speed-metallers Annihilator and who is now back in D.O.A. since 2001) and drummer Chuck Biscuits (who also played for Black Flag, Samhain, Circle Jerks, Social Distortion, Danzig, the Descendents and so many other punk legends! Let's f**k Vinyl and paper sleeve in excellent condition wiht only slight damage to the top of sleeve(SEE PICTURE) The story of the famous Margaret Trudeau picture on the first pressing is special. It was said that Margaret Trudeau (which was by then known as Margaret Sinclair) was Randy Rampage's babysitter and that he took that picture when she was writing something and obviously didn't knew that her skirt lifted to show that she had no panties! Apparently, he had always kept that picture and tought it would be a good idea to put it on a record when he became a punk rocker and discovered that his former sexy babysitter was now the prime minister's wife! A second "censored" pressing of 1 000 with a white and blue sleeve with the part between Margaret’s legs covered up (fear of a lawsuit) and D.O.A. sold them on tour in the midwest, on the east coast and in Canada. A third "censored" pressing of 1 000 with a hard black and white sleeve, the part between Margaret’s legs covered up and NO band copyright info was made without the band knowing it. It was discovered later and the band gave many of them to independent distributors on the west coast who distributed it themselves. The uncensored version is the RAREST and the sleeve was very fragile because (unlike the third pressing) it was made of paper and were almost all sold on tour, mostly bought by punkers, not collectors, and most copies left today are very damaged! YOU WON'T FIND ANOTHER ONE IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION! YOU ARE BIDDING ON THE ULTRA RARE FIRST PRESSING HERE! YOU WON'T SEE MANY OF THEM ON EBAY SO DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE!
