 Dionysos'  first album ''Le Grand Jeu'' from 1971 was a rough and heavy blues psych prog rock LP topped by gruff vocals.

This, their highly coveted second album "Le Prince Croule",  is an absolutely superb conceptual prog gem built on a story that revolves around a fictitious crumbling dynasty of the past ("The Prince Crumbles").

 

Released a year after their first, their sophomore album showcases the band in a more experimental and progressive mode .....yet it still boasts that same rough & heavy organ-driven blues-psych and raw vocals heard on their debut.    .....Definately the stronger of their two releases.    (ProgArchives album reviews: Here)
