1974/Canada/Daffodil Records DAF 10045……. here’s a clean original pressing of this rare Canadian Prog Rock lp. The gatefold cover is in solid VG+ condition and has a small delete hole lower right corner, very light wear at the top of the cover on the front and back, light corner wear with a bit of paper loss top left corner, otherwise the cover is in clean condition and is solid and clean with no splits. The vinyl is in glossy M- condition. The record looks and plays clean with little noise and clean punchy fidelity. Includes original Daffodil inner sleeve. A nice Keeper copy! "Don't Lie To The Band" is the second album by the Toronto based band, Dillinger. Originally released on the Daffodil Records label in 1976, two years after the band's debut, this album sees the band starting to pursue a hard rock direction on some songs rather than keeping with the progressive style of the previous effort. There are still some bright moments on this album that includes the songs, "It's Not All Mine," a radio friendly cover of a Spooky Tooth tune from the Mirror album, Munchkin Men, a superb psychedelic tinged progressive opus, the frantic Robot Race and the emotional ballad Coming Home. The band also does a cover of the Beatles song, "Taxman." Don't Lie To The Band was to be the last release by Dillinger before founding members Paul Cockburn and Jacques Harrison split to form the hard rock band "The Hunt".

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition.
