Artist / Title: Dillard & Clark / Through the Morning , Through the Night
Release Info: A&M Records SP 4203) - Pre-release Monarch Test Pressing from 1969. This is from the collection of a former A&M employee.
Condition: Cover with light wear. No writing or stains. All seams and spine are intact. Vinyl has numerous marks and scuffs with the majority on side two. Side one plays well with some occasional surface noise. Side two is noisier, with pops and crackles. To be accurate, I would grade SIDE ONE “VG-“ & SIDE TWO “FAIR”. I don’t normally list records in this condition unless unique or collectible. I did not experience skips during playback.

After some additional research, H.V. Waddell was a pressing plant based in Los Angeles. My best guess is that only the test pressing was made at this plant, making it quite unique. Subsequent pressings were made at other plants.
On Oct-15-24 at 16:37:38 PDT, seller added the following information:Since I’ve had a few questions regarding concerns over sound quality, I want to emphasize that it plays MUCH BETTER than it looks. Again, no skips. Just a few light crackles and a few lower volume ticks/pops here and there mainly on side two. I tend to grade conservatively to be on the safe side.
