Description

For sale is a Brazilian vinyl release of Abismo De Rosas from Dilermando Reis (Continental, LPP-3.158).


Beginning in the 1940s Dilermando Reis began recording his vast discography - he recorded until two years before his death in 1977.

Reis' waltz Abismo de Rosas - still popular to this day in some circles - was one of the most expressive recordings for Continental (Brazil) during the fertile period between 1950 and 1960.

 


Disc is VG-VG+ showing some light to moderate inner sleeve scuffs but is otherwise clean. It's a quiet record as far as the music is concerned and plays with faint crackle on outer tracks, less so on inner tracks. There's occassional faint pops and side 2 has rotational whoosh for the first 4 rotations.

Jacket is VG+, closer to EX with light creasing and minor storage wear.
