Description

PURCHASED BRAND NEW when released, I HAVE NEVER PLAYED THIS RECORD and have stored it in a plastic bag since ownership. This is the 1982 Version City Records of Xenia, Ohio release. This is a paper wrap around sleeve with a lyric sheet with info plus credits and a Version City Record info sheet. All is in excellent shape. Inner paper sleeve has a "ring crase" on the bottom right corner (see picture).(Please excuse my camera for the one picture of the inner paper sleeve looking yellow, it is white!)
Side A: Hate Me - Pain - Enemies  Side B: In School - Think For Me - Don't Say Please
Recorded 9/11/1982. with lyric sheet.

First pressing of 500 copies had a white sleeve with black on silver labels.
Second pressing with a yellow sleeve with silver on black labels, some copies of the second pressing with white sleeve.

Die Kreuzen (di kroitsen /  dee KROYT-sen) is an American rock band from Rockford, Illinois formed in 1981. Shortly after, they relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The name, which was taken from a German Bible, is grammatically incorrect German for "the crosses". They began as a hardcore punk group and evolved musically to alternative rock.

Die Kreuzen was originally called "The Stellas". It consisted of Dan Kubinski on vocals, Brian Egeness on guitar, Keith Brammer on bass guitar, and Erik Tunison on drums.

After contributing tracks to the Charred Remains and The Master Tape compilations, the band's debut release was the Cows and Beer. Their 21-song eponymous debut album was released in 1984, and included new versions of the tracks from Cows and Beer.
