Rare ‘Made In Germany’ pressing from 1979. Here’s your chance to get the harder to find PROMO issue with the CBS-BLITZINFO back sleeve (see second scan). The same sold on eBay, in March 2012, for €32 and in July for €34 (EURO). This original first pressing was distributed by CBS and that’s the reason why it was on born in CBS-Blitzinfo sleeve. There is ‘Unverkäufliche Musterplatte’ printed on both label sides which stands for PROMOTIONAL COPY – NOT FOR SALE. You can listen to the following three tracks: ‘Banana Splits’ / ‘Hideous’ and ‘Got It At The Store’. As additional, here’s the comment from the great FLEX book (US Hardcore/Punk discography):
- The title track might be their best song (a cover version from a TV show theme), it certainly was their biggest hit in the UK. Fast, melodic, ultra catchy and wacky; the others two songs are great, too. [9]
- Der Titeltrack ist vielleicht der beste überhaupt von den Dickies; diese Melodie ist einfach so genial und simpel, daß sie im Ohr kleben bleibt. Die anderen Songs sind zwar nicht ganz so gut wie der erste, aber auch toll. Sahne.

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal.
