Beautiful copy of the super-rare true original 1962 first pressing LP of Surfers' Choice by Dick Dale and his Del-Tones, on Deltone Records LPM-1001. This is the original private label version before he signed to Capitol when the record was reissued. An original self-released copy is very rare, and is considered by many to be the very first surf rock album ever. Certainly Dick Dale was the king of the surf guitar, and this album was the first unleashing of his glory. And this copy is in great condition. The vinyl is nearly perfect, with just a few very light surface marks that do not affect the play at all. Plays flawlessly and magnificently. The cover has very light wear here and there. Some light spine wear and edgewear, and very light creases at the upper and lower left corners. Also a 3 1/2" seam split at the top going from the spine toward the center, so it doesn't flop open. There are no other seam splits, and no major damage. All in all it is a gorgeous cover, and a near-perfect disc. A top original.
