DHARMA BLUES BAND - "Same" - Very rare original 1969 UK Major Minor label 1st pressing (Matrix A1/B1) 12-track stereo vinyl LP housed in it's superb Barbara Shepard designed front laminated sleeve. Cat.No.SMCP 5017. Extremely hard to find, especially in such beautiful condition, UK original very first pressing vinyl LP. This original copy is in superb condition. The sleeve has only negligable wear and the vinyl is near flawless. Great late 60's UK underground Blues / Rock trio.

On offer here, from my own collection, is a very rare original 1969 UK Blues / Rock record by Dharma Blues Band which is near impossible to find in such stunning MINT- condition as this original first pressing copy is in. The winning bidder of this extremely rare LP will never need to upgrade this album! For many years this record was rumoured to have featured Dave Brock of Hawkwind fame playing under a pseudonym but this has not been confirmed. The fabulous laminated front cover still retains it's beautiful high gloss finish. Even the white back is still lovely and clean. This LP is a 'must have' for any serious record collector of rare 60's vinyl !!

Vinyl: MINT- (Thick and heavy original 1960's vinyl pressing retains all it's original gloss and lustre. Only a few very,very feint wispy hairlines are visible under a strong light. Plays superbly throughout. This record has seen very little play indeed during the past 40 years. A truly STUNNING original pressing of this highly sought after record. I doubt if you can find a much better original pressing of this super rare LP)

Sleeve: EXCELLENT + (Made & Printed in England by Moore & Matthes Printers Ltd. Beautiful front laminated sleeve designed by Barbara Shepard. Stunning condition with very sharp corners and edges and only a few little laminate creases near the spine and one feint crease on the front. The rear of the cover is very clean with only very minor and minimal wear. No writing and No stickers. You would never imagine this superb sleeve is 40 years old!!)

Records Are Graded In The Following Way:

MINT: The record displays barely any signs of use, if any, with no marks or deteriortion in sound quality. Extra items and cover are near perfect.

EXCELLENT: Shows only minor signs of being played with very little lessening in sound quality. The Cover and extras will have some light wear and or creasing

VERY GOOD: Has been played many times but has no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Cover and extras will have normal wear and tear but no major defects

GOOD: Has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and any extras may suffer from folding, scuffing, split spine, discoloration etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable and has considerable surface noise and may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly. Covers badly damaged or partly missing

+ or - : Indicates slightly better (+) or slightly lesser (-) condition than main grade

Packing Procedures: All LPs are securely and well packed in top quality material to avoid any unnecessary damage during transit. When posted the records are removed from the cover, if possible, and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to prevent sleeve splits in the post. I use brand new mailers, either the envelope style with thick stiffeners to prevent any sleeve bends in transit, or the "cruciform" style that wrap around the LP. I aim to dispatch all items within 48 hours of receiving payment. It is recommended that you choose the insurance option for higher value items. As stated above I cannot be held responsible for any item(s) lost or damaged in the post that are not shipped via insured / registered mail. I always obtain a certificate proof of posting receipt for every item sent, which will complete our transaction.
