Hi!  You're looking at a SUPERB condition copy of a beautiful 8 LP Deluxe Box set that features a COMPLETE performance of the Symphonies of LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN--they're on the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft (DGG) label and GERMAN pressings with the serial number 2740 172; the recordings are in STEREO.  The record has NEAR MINT condition vinyl which is virtually without flaw and plays beautifully, and a NM condition box with just very light shelfwear.  The set also includes a beautiful book with full musical and discographical information, illustrations (with many full-color photographs), a COMPLETE illustrated listing and guide to each individual member of the Berliner Philharmoniker, and much more.  The LP features brilliant performances of the 9 Symphonies of LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN as performed by conductor HERBERT VON KARAJAN, who leads the Berliner Philharmoniker.  The "Choral" Ninth Symphony also features the Wiener Singverein with chorusmaster HELMUTH FROSCHAUER; featured vocalists are ANNA TOMOWA-SINTOW, soprano; AGNES BALTSA, contralto; PETER SCHREIER, tenor; and JOSE VAN DAM, baritone.
