Hi! You're looking at a fantastic LP which is a VERY RARE and hard to find 3 LP set that's in NEAR MINT vinyl condition and is on the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft (DGG) label--this is an EXTREMELY hard to find ORIGINAL GERMAN PRESSING (not an Italian pressing, which is far more common) and bears the serial number 2709 047; it's a STEREO issue. The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition with a couple of very light paper scuffs that should not affect play; the box is in NEAR MINT- condition with light corner dings and a deluxe laminated cover; the booklet that comes with the set includes an interview with violinist NATHAN MILSTEIN and full information about the compositions & illustrations. The record features an incredible recording of the COMPLETE 6 Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin, BWV 1001-1006, composed by JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH and performed by virtuoso violinist NATHAN MILSTEIN--this is Milstein's second full recording of the complete Sonatas and Partitas of Bach, and Milstein himself considered them superior to his first recital of the pieces. These pieces represent the ultimate challenge and platform for interpretive brilliance for violinists, and Nathan Milstein's performance is among the finest ever recorded. A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this RARE and hard to find 3 LP Box Set!
