This is the original UK Mono issue of The Dexter Gordon Quintets' "Daddy plays the horn".
The laminated cover is generally pretty clean, some laminate lift at the open edge, a
couple of light creases and a little wear to the vertical spine.The rear cover bottom flip-
back has a couple of creases and a very small stain, see the photos for a better idea.
Both labels are very clean. The vinyl surfaces look very clean, hardly any signs of play
wear or use. Playback reveals a lot of background noise though, especially at the
beginning of each side, so avoid if you're looking for a clean copy. A rare beast in any
condition, U.S. copies fetching up to four figures and UK issues rarely coming up for sale.
So a nice album to own and hear, but not one for the audiophile.
