ITEM DESCRIPTION: Rare Original Jazz, Mono Pressing, Dexter Gordon Quartet, 1956, original inner sleeve, Other Personnel: Kenny Drew, Leroy Vinnegar, Larry Marable, 6 Selections: Daddy Plays The Horn, Confirmation, Darn That Dream, Number Four, Autumn In New York, You Can Depend On Me, a very nice copy, modest reserve.
VINYL CONDITION: VG+/VG++ has been played but vinyl well cared for, has several light scuffs, has a few very small marks on Side B Autumn In New York (listen), heard the slightest bit of ticking at times during play, strong sound, sounds excellent, (please listen to these 3 long samples of 1. Daddy Plays The Horn, 2. Darn That Dream, 3. Autumn In New York from the actual record being sold)
LABEL CONDITION: VG/VG+ clean red deep groove labels with silver printing have several light spindle traces and a few fingerprint smudges.
COVER CONDITION: VG+ Howard Stabin drawn cover has light to moderate wear on corners, surface and edges, has the more moderate wear on corners and edges, back cover has light discoloration and light soiling, has a small paint droplet on lower left near spine and some dirt at right edge on front cover, seams are intact except 2.5" split at bottom right.
Please be aware that this record has not been cleaned with a VPI machine and the condition would most likely improve with a professional cleaning.
