DESTINY’S CHILDREN-45-“Fall Of The Queen” b/w “Your First Time”-Ventural Records #V-730-DJ Issue-KILLER, MONSTER & HOLY GRAIL 1966 Pasadena TEXAS Garage-Punk. One of the best—also SUPER RARE. Have not run across any copies of this one over the years. Never listed on Ebay. A side you all know from various comps-TEXAS FLASHBACK et al. THE MEANEST MOST EVIL lead vocal ever (Except maybe “And She Said Yes” by the PAINTED SHIP) Inspired by Van Morrison/Jagger. Killer track. You all know this cut. B side is totally on the opposite end of the spectrum-sounds like a garage-like Everly Brothers!!! Sort of sounds like the Stones/Jimmy Reed “Honest I Do” in structure with the vocals obviously attempting to carbon-copy the Everly Brothers style. VERY RARE and killerkool record.
Condition: Record is close to VG-; at first glance looks VG+ or better; under bright light you can see very light wear, slight paper and surface scuffs.
Label has red crayon on one side, a number, as well as slight dry tape residue; A side has some slight red/black (I assume crayon residue)—see photo—also on A side, label has slight paper ‘bubble’ for lack of a better description—small-on left side of 45 center (see photo again)--
