TROJAN LP 33 RPM UK, CatNo.: TTL 4, 1969 DESMOND DEKKER THIS IS DESMOND DEKKER (Brilliant sounds from this pioneer of JA music...I think these are all Leslie Kong-productions...12 tracks of vintage beauty...includes some of his finest tunes..."Sabotage"..."Beautiful And Dangerous"..."Music Like Dirt"..."Rudy Got Soul"..."Unity"..."Mother Young Gal"...as well as his most-classic "007"...at Ocean's Eleven...a definite MUST for all lovers of early & skinhead-reggay...original '69 press on Trojan...come with beautiful front-laminated sleeve and orange label...don't miss...if you're in the early-reggay-bizz!!!) ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS!) FEATURE: CREATION VIBES WAX 'N' SOUND: ex / ex, both sides show lightest wear only, a very few light surface marks, both sides very shiny, really extraordinary condition (nearly 40 years old!), plays ina mono-type of things-styleee w/ excellent punch + crisp sound, transparent + clean! LABEL: both sides show hardly any wear, NO writings, NO damages, nearly perfect - watch the scan, please! SLEEVE: front-laminated, in GREAT condition, shows very light general wear only, NO writings/markings, very light creasing, NO damages, still has the "14'6"-sticker - ex condition! Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...) P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
