Description

An original UK pressing of Dennis Wilson's revered 1977 Pacific Ocean Blue LP on Caribou (CRB 81672); overlooked at the time and only now receiving posthumous recognition. I'll say no more (there's currently more than enough talk about this classic album in the various magazines etc).

The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is a lovely EX- with no edgewear, strong spine, true corners and no dings, no creases, no unwanted writing, no tears or stains, no half-moons or anything else; just a touch of ringwear here and there but nothing untoward on a sleeve that is now over 30 years old. The inner gatefold sleeve is, as you would expect, perfect.

The fine slab of vinyl looks beautiful, glossy and black - an easy EX; under the harsh intensity of unforgiving halogen lighting only the finest 'sleeve removal' marks are apparent.

The attractive 'Made in England' labels are pristine, exhibiting virtually no spindle marks. This disc easily warrants its EX grading, having clearly been very little used and very carefully handled.

The original insert containing lyrics and credits is a bonus; this is in clean unfoxed condition with all print perfectly legible and just a small creased area (non textual) at the top right corner (to the right of the 'N' on the bold 'WILSON' masthead).

Original copies of this album are terribly scarce these days; here is an example to cherish.
