Very Very hard to Find Original 1977 UK Stereo 1st Pressing 'Pacific Ocean Blue' by Dennis Wilson. In Stunning **Near Mint*** Condition Throughout and Complete With ***Near Mint*** Original Lyric Insert and ***Near Mint*** Patents Text Inner Sleeve!  Released in Very Small Amounts and Virtually Impossible to Find Today - Especially in Near Mint/Near Mint Condition! This is a real rarity - a Near Mint UK 1st pressing of Pacific Ocean Blue by the late Dennis Wilson. It has been archived since new in my own personal collection and was purchased from new on the day of release. A very rare album, and you will probably never see it again in Near Mint condition. Suitable for the highest grade Near Mint prog/psych/pop collection. It is pretty much the rarest of all UK Beach Boys related albums and is one of those IMPOSSIBLE albums to find nowadays, especially in flawless condition such as this - It just doesn't happen anymore, even on eBay! What make this rarer still is that it still has its original Rare insert - also Near Mint. Bad timing meant that this record was released just as punk was breaking in the UK and was criminally overlooked as the kids were more interested in nose rings, attitude and all things Sex Pistols; the general perception being that bearded Californians had had their day. This is a real shame because a lot of people missed something very special here; this is a beautiful album, full of the flowing melodic sun-drenched ocean songs that permeated the Beach Boys best work and finally gave Dennis the chance to step out of his genius brother's song writing shadow. However the songs also contain a certain fragility, with the weariness and paranoia of the approaching decade creeping through the album. Although giving is a dark edge it really that adds to the charm of this record, and gives an indication that Dennis may have shared some of the demons that tortured brother Brian.

Don't miss this rare record, as it sold in miniscule amounts, and remains of of the truly great 'lost' albums of the 1970's. The press run of this record was absolutely minimal! The 1st press Caribou Records labels are in stunning Near Mint condition! They have NO Tears, NO Peeling/Lifting, NO Scribbles, NO unwanted writing of any kind and only the very faintest trace of lines around the spindle hole that can only be seen when holding the record angled at strong light. This record has only ever been played once or twice at best! The gramophone rims containing the all important matrix's are also mint!

The disc itself is also in absolutely pristine  Near Mint condition!!! It has a beautiful 'factory pressed' sheen with NO scratches, NO Blemishes, NO Dullness/ Groovewear and NO Warping!!! NOTHING It is simple stunning - it's as simple as that - it is perfect!  Please remember that our records are not over-graded at all. 

The Earliest 1st Press Shorepack un-laminated gatefold sleeve is also in stunning Nr Mint condition! The only other times I have seen this sleeve it has been absolutely trashed. This one however is pristine, with NO Tears, NO Wear, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind! It is completely blemish free!!! The un-laminated sleeve opens out perfectly to reveal a Nr Mint- un-laminated inner!  I cannot find any real faults at all, there is no wear to the spine or opening edges, no ring-wear, no writing/scribbles etc, no discolouration and no blemishes. There is just a tiny hairline crease in the very bottom right corner, but it is so insignificant it does nothing to stop this getting a superb Near Mint grading!!! The rare lyric insert looks like it has never been removed from inside the sleeve and grades as Mint-!!! Comes with original Mint- UK 'Patent' Inner Sleeve! A very rare record and one that hardly ever turns up anymore
