Description
I have shown 12 photos of this Sound Studio Orchestra LP. it is Recorded Music for Film Radio and Television featuring Dennis Farnon and is a Stereo UK LP from 1974. It is on Boosey & Hawkes records and is catalogue number- SBH 3052. It is a UK 1st pressing and the matrix numbers are- SBH-3052.A-1W SBH-3052.B-1W The record is visually near mint on side 1 and EX on side 2. I have play tested it on my Thorens turntable as seen in my photos and it plays through very well. There are two pops on track 2 side 2 and some light background sound on track 3 side 2 that is not obtrusive. Apart from that it plays really lovely throughout. It has a lovely punchy rich full sound that fills the room. There is a real mixture of great sounds to this LP -Jazz , Funk and some wonderful hip hop beats on some of the tracks. Both labels are in super clean near mint condition with just a few very feint small spindle trails. The laminated fronted sleeve is in EX very clean condition with a small crease to the left corner. It has a very nice spine. The text on the spine is fully legible.The opening edge is also superb and sharp. On the spine it reads- Boosey & Hawkes Recorded Music Light Industrial SBH 3052. The rear of the sleeve is also very clean The original inner sleeve is near mint with no side splits. I also have some other Boosey & Hawkes UK LPs that I may list on ebay.
