Description

Def Leppard "Hysteria" Original 1987 Pressing on Mercury Label, Catalog# 830 675-1 Q-1
Gold Promo Stamp on back cover "Loaned for Promotion Only". This is an early promo copy from a radio station.

Sleeve: art looks great. There are two light creases and minimal corner wear as shown in pics. Large factory hype sticker "Hysteria 12 Songs, 63 Minutes.", because it had been 3 years since Def Leppard's last release. People were wondering what was happening to them as a band, and if they were ever coming back. Their drummer, Rick Allen, had been in a terrible car accident and lost his left arm. In 2½ years, he relearned his craft with only 3 limbs, and they were able to produce this huge hit of an album.

Inner sleeve: art looks great, and there are seam splits. This is the "custom sleeve" with a lot of notes to fans, thank you's, and a packed concert photo from stage perspective. I don't know why folks are calling it that, I'm pretty sure it was the standard 1st edition sleeve, which thanked their fans for waiting patiently.

Vinyl: looks great, there is one light mark. It's not a scratch, and I couldn't get it to show up in the pictures. (above the "y" in Mercury, not visible in the photos)
There is a spot on Side 2 label, I can't tell if it's a manufacturing defect or what. This does show in the photos.
There are very light spindle marks that are hard to see and don't show up on the photos.

Any issues mentioned are captured in the last photos to the best of my ability.
