OK...the item on offer here is :

"LIGHT SPEED COLLISION"

12" vinyl LP

original FIRST pressing...in pristinely MINT condition... i.e. brand new!!

Who were they? Only one of thee greatest live bands you could wish to see...a mix of metallic grinding guitars, trippy synth, pounding programmed drums (heavily percussive), and funky bass lines...rap your imagination around the idea of an amalgam of the 1968/69 psychedelic Sly and the Family Stone, plus Metallica, Can, and Man-Machine-era Kraftwerk...with raunchy-as-all-hell female vocals (themself a mix of Doro, Cherie Currie, and Jim Morrison...yes!)...like it? (You will if you haven't heard them before.) Some suggested Pop Will Eat Itself were the only other group to come anywhere near this...but personally I think no-one has...ever. They were so far ahead of their time, that it'll still take years for the masses to suss just how amazing and groundbreaking they were. I promise you, one day it will all click in...also there's enough riffing guitar breaks, thunderous drum breaks, funky bass grabs, and catchy vocal snatches to thrill the most ambitious of live/remix DJs - you could haul so much outta here...it amazes me that no-one's latched onto that yet. (Or have they...?)

. "LIGHT SPEED COLLISION" - 1992, Phantom PHMLP-22...orange vinyl...inner sleeve with cool live band pix and all lyrics...they were signed to EMI by this time but somehow we managed to scoop a deal (I used to own Phantom back then) wherein we got to press up 500 of this on vinyl (some were on black vinyl), without having to pay a cent to EMI for the masters/privilege...tracks are: DEFINITION FUNCTION X / FEELS GOOD / NO TIME FOR NOWHERE / THIS IS THE PLACE / CRYSTALISE / ANGEL IN THE DEVIL'S SKY / SPACE TIME DISCO / WIRED / SEX GAME SUCKER / LOST / LIGHT SPEED COLLISION

I'm pretty sure this is the LAST un-used/unplayed one I have left over...I've scoured everywhere and it seems this is it!
