PLEASE CHECK CONDITION BELOW BEFORE BIDDING - SLEEVE HAS SOME DAMAGE.

This is a rare original first pressing of Deep Purple's first LP on Parlophone. It is a stereo pressing, catalogue no. PCS 7055, but housed in a mono flipback sleeve. Labels are yellow and black and the matrix numbers etched into the vinyl read: YEX 689-1 and YEX 690-1. Tracks are:

CONDITION: Vinyl has a handful of light paper scuffs which do not affect play. There is also a very small scratch on "Hey Joe" which makes a very light background click for 4 turns of the record, otherwise vinyl is excellent. A 7cms long section of the bottom flipback of the rear of the sleeve has been torn away. Please see the 2nd picture below where I have attempted to show this fault. Otherwise, the sleeve is in very good condition. I generally follow Record Collector's grading system but please see my "ME" page for a fuller description of my gradings. The picture below was taken by me and is of the actual item for sale - it is not copied from other sources!
