This is a test pressing LP with music on one side only..The other side has just a high pitched tone..
Test pressings were done to test the sound quality..Only a handful were pressed,they were never commercially available and were often destroyed once their purpose had been served..
You are never going to find one of these again!.
Originaly issued on Parlophone in 1968..PCS 7055...
This test press is the first side of the album with the tracks.."And The Address/Hush/One More Rainy day/Prelude:Happiness/I'm So Glad"
The matrix numbers are::..YEX 689 1..The side with no music has "LPFB" stamped into the run out grooves...
The stampers at 3 0'clock and 9 0'clock are 1G...
It comes in it's original paper sleeve (a one sided test press would never have had a proper sleeve).."Deep Purple","Play tracks 1&2 (And The Address,Hush)" and the matrix number are handwritten in biro "24 June 1968" is rubber stamped to the top left corner of this sleeve..
The label has a faint "Stereo" rubber stamped on one side..The other side has nothing at all....
The disc looks EX minus as there is a slight hairline across the first track (there are no nasty scratches,scuffs or marks..)..It dont affect play at all and the disc plays a real strong Ex with no problems..

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..
The Russian Federation is also having delays on deliveries ..This is due to the sheer volume of parcels going into the Federation..Again,expect delays!.

Shipping
All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!
All items are posted the day that payment is recieved..
Terms of Sale
