Deep Purple, Stormbringer
Deep Purple, Stormbringer.
1974 UK Purple Records stereo LP, TPS 3508. Earliest press with A1/B1 matrix suffixes and KENDUN stamped to both sides.
Visually a strong VG. No deep marks but surfaces have a number of superficial scuff marks. Spindle activity is moderate but not heavily so.
This said, the LP plays superbly. The sound floor is superb and the pressing is very quiet. This is noticeable even at separator bands and plays nearer a top end EX plus to near mint.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Original plain inner sleeve is original with "Patent No. 1,125,555, text. Some tanning and creasing else inner sound.
External sleeve VG plus. Some unobtrusive tiny slivers of surface loss from sticker removal to top right front. Some minor creasing and hairline impressions else main panels bright and clean. Edges generally sound, a few spots of surface whitening including a slightly bigger scuff bottom centre, but this still very small. Entry side crisp and not worn or feathered.
