Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... THE VINYL EX+ INCREDIBLE CONDITION
As you can see, this vinyl is the EARLY 1st UK pressing -Stored from new this LP has seen A HANDFUL OF PLAYS, and remains in superb condition everywhere. And with the all important earliest 1U matrix numbers.
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.
A handful of light spider lines around the centre hole, but no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.
There is some light whisp and a few light hairlines in a few places but nothing that spoils the play and no bad marks or scratches anywhere! The silky vinyl sounds amazing as you would wish for, and only some very light lead in static on the opening grooves.
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY COLLECTION. FINDING THESE FIST PRESSES WITH TEH CORRECT FIRST SLEEVE IS BECOMING VERY HARD TO DO.

This is a cuperb sleeve and has no wear or whitening to report , we do not auction any sleeves that we deem to have 'wear' so rest assured you are looking at a sleeve of stunning condition..
The edges are all super clean with no traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition. This sleeve which is so hard to preserve without wear has clearly been stored away for decades!
A few light spider lines over the edges and some very very light ring press, but nothing that looks bad at all
the titles are on the top edge and spine as all first sleeves should be (later sleeves had no titles on the top)
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp. some incidental spots of edge rub in a few places
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with not a hint of handling
The spine edge is totally unmarked -one light dink on the bottom edge
