SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE

1st lp by Deep Purple with original line-up which does not have Ian Gillan or Roger Glover. This is a genuine first pressing as it has the EMI stamper codes 1 G on the first side and 1 R on the second side. The lp comes in its original advertising inner sleeve with 'Piper at the gates of dawn' the 'Scaffold' and of course 'Sgt. Peppers'. This lp has it's share of covers including 'Hey Joe' credited to Deep Purple? The record is in incredible EX+ condition with No marks or scratches and sounds brilliant. The sleeve does have a bit of corner wear and creasing so I would put this a little under EX.
RECORD GRADINGS
MINTThe record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
