Description
Very rare original UK stereo edition of Deep Purples 1st album featuring Rod Evans on vocals and Nick Simper on bass guitar. Released in 1968 on the famous yellow and black Parlophone label. Includes great versions of Help and Hey Joe.
Beautiful front laminated sleeve and earliest possible matrix numbers YEX 689-1 YEX 690-2. Complete w original EMI inner sleeve. I purchased this copy at a record fair in 1986 and it has been stowed away since then.
The sleeve shows some light ringwear on front. No rips, tears or writing! It is certainly in Ex condition.
The record has 3 light scratches. I have listened to the entire album and it plays perfectly throughout. Both labels in shiny condition.
The original inner sleeve is in perfect condition with only a small stain in the corner. No rips, tears or writing.
Overall a great copy of this very rare album. Please see pictures.
