Description
A unique opportunity to bid for an authentic original white label pre-production pressing of Deep Purple's album 'Made In Japan' issued by EMI in 1972. The four sides of the album are on four separate vinyl discs (12in), each of which has one blank side and one with the tracks. The centres of the discs have blank white labels which gives the name to these items. There is no writing on the white labels.
Only a very limited number of these pressings would be produced, many of which would be destroyed, which means they are extremely rare. These four vinyls carry the matrix codings TPS3511A-1U, TPS3511B-1U, TPS3512A-1U and TPS3512B-1U.
The discs come in their original factory white inner sleeves dated 20 Oct, 23 Oct and 25 Oct 1972 within a clean original album cover. I have had them in my possession for nearly 40 years during which time they have been played only a small number of times and therefore they are in near mint condition.
