You are bidding on DEEP PURPLE MACHINE HEAD .
This is the original 1972 UK first press on the first press purple label TPSA 7504 Inner dead wax stamper machined stamp TPSA 7504 A-1U/TPSA 7504 B-1U .
This is the earliest first pressing made with Gramophone Company label edge test.
It includes the original UK inner plastic-lined sleeve and three fold lyric sheet in excellent condition..
The cover is the 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD LAMINATED COVER!!!!
The cover is in excellent condition with no seam splits , no edge or ring wear no flaking - just 2 very small paper wear on the two bottom corners.
Vinyl on Side 1 is near mint . There are no visible marks on the vinyl. Appears to have been played a few times if any. Label is very clean with some light spindle marks barely visible .
Vinyl on Side 2 is also near mint with what looks like a light scuff mark seen under a bright light which does not affect the sound. The 8th picture shows that faint scuff mark.
This is about as good as you are going to get for this rare highly collectible record.
Only a sealed copy would top this. And if you buy a sealed copy, you never know what you are going to get once it is opened.
