Don't miss this opportunity to own one of the finest 1970 CLASSIC ROCK Albums of all time.
Deep Purple in Rock (also known as In Rock) is the fourth album by English rock band Deep Purple, released in June 1970. It was their fourth studio album and the first with the classic Mk II lineup. Rod Evans (vocals) and Nick Simper (bass) had been fired in June 1969 and were replaced by Ian Gillan and Roger Glover, respectively.
Deep Purple in Rock was their breakthrough album in Europe and would peak at #4 in the UK, remaining in the charts for months. (The band's prior MK I albums had been much better received in North America than in their homeland.) The album was supported by the hugely successful In Rock World Tour which lasted 15 months.
Although this was the first studio album to feature the MK II lineup of the band, it was this lineup that had earlier recorded the live Concerto for Group and Orchestra. The album was also preceded by two singles, the first studio recordings that Gillan made with Deep Purple. The first single, released in 1969, was a Greenaway-Cook composition called "Hallelujah", which flopped. The second single, "Black Night", fared much better as it rose all the way to #2 on the UK charts.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS , PLEASE ASK ME , YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED
If you 'are' interested in any of my records , please don't miss out by not making a bid , I do not relist items straight away as once the auction has finished any unsold items are taken to market in order to rotate stock, and of course as a result may not be available for sale again.
Also note that a lot of my item end times 'overlap'. Don't lose out by 'missing' the end of the auction whilst you're bidding on another item, 'put in your maximum bid' ..... what do you have to lose ? , you might end up getting a bargain and if someone bids more than you then you've not paid more than you wanted to in the first place.

All records are professionally cleaned using an MOTH cleaning system prior to despatch.
I package my records in the strongest purpose made mailers for maximum safety.
All records are removed from their picture sleeves where appropriate and posted in a separate plain white inner to avoid damage during transit.
The following is the scale I use to grade my records , I try my best to get it right so please buy with confidence.
MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks
or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint.
EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played,
but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The vinyl may have some hairline surface scuffs which will be only slightly visible.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times,
but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,
is acceptable.
GOOD:
The record has been played so much
that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated.
perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover suffers from folding, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
