The original Garrod and Lofthouse textured gatefold sleeve (with code '7109') is in very good condition. There are a few small creases coming out of the spine and some scuffing to the edges. The cover is flat and the spine is strong with all lettering visible. The inside of the gatefold is very clean indeed. There are no splits, stains or other damage.

The original inner sleeve are in very good condition, no rips, stains or tears, just some light creasing.

Visually, the record must grade Near Mint. The LP has no evidence of paper scuffs or even hairline scratches on either side. The spindles are clean with no marks around it and no spindle traces on either sides. The labels are also clean with no marks, scuffs or writing.

The playing condition is also Near Mint. Despite the album showing just a few visual signs of being played, it plays beautifully from start to finish with no nasty pops, clicks or other noise at all.
We reckon this has been played no more than twice. A really very nice, clean sounding copy.

Recorded in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Australia and New York City, 'High Hopes' features Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello on numerous tracks and will be released on January 13. The album also features a cover of Suicide's 'Dream Baby Dream'.

Morello toured Australia with Springtseen earlier this year and contributes vocals to the song 'The Ghost of Tom Joad' as well playing guitar on the album's title track. Clarence Clemons, who passed away in 2011, and Danny Federici, who passed away in 2008, also appear on several of the album's songs.

'High Hopes' isn't a totally new song. A version of the track - originally released in 1990 by The Havalinas - features on Springsteen's 1996 EP 'Blood Brothers'. However, Springsteen has recently reworked older material for newer releases, such as 'Land Of Hope And Dreams' on 'Wrecking Ball'.

Very Good: Obviously been played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any major defects.
