AN IMMACULATE AND SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS ORIGINAL 1971 UK ALBUM FROM, DEEP PURPLE, IN TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE, WITH HARVEST INNER BAG AND DOUBLE SIDED LYRIC SHEET.

Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford uk in 1968. They are considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, although their musical approach changed over the years. Originally formed as a progressive rock band, the band shifted its sound to hard rock in 1970, and in 2013 began exploring progressive metal. Deep Purple, together with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, have been referred to as the "unholy trinity of British hard rock and heavy metal in the early to mid-Seventies". They were listed in the 1975 Guinness Book of World Records as "the globe's loudest band" for a 1972 concert at London's Rainbow Theatre, and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide, including 8.5 million certified units in the United States.

This is an original first issue UK album with a textured gatefold sleeve, a Harvest Records inner bag and double sided lyric sheet.

Both record labels have the Gramophone Co Ltd Label rim print and are in immaculate Mint condition, super clean undamaged record labels with no signs of play on each label.

The LP plays through all tracks without faults, a beautiful clear sound quality on this album.

The machine stampers, side1, SHVL 793A-2U, side2, SHVL 793 B-3U.

The Mother stampers, side1, 35 LD, side2, 2 GDR.

Both sides of the beautiful vinyl LP are in simply immaculate Mint condition, super clean unmarked as new, glossy well cared for vinyl surfaces to both sides.

The LP comes in it’s original EMI Harvest advertising poly lined inner record bag, and is housed in it’s original textured, Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Picture Sleeve, and is beautiful Near Mint condition. The sleeve shows just LP storage signs to the reverse panel. The inner gatefold part of the sleeve is undamaged, all edges and spine are also undamaged.

The double sided, printed lyric inner sheet is also in immaculate Mint condition.

This is a beautiful example of this original UK Deep Purple album release.
