THIS ITEM HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR OVER 35 YEARS PLUS. IT IS AS IT LOOKS IN THESE PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN BY MYSELF, PLEASE NOTE NO PHOTOSHOP EFFECTS HAVE BEEN USED. YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANOTHER AS PERFECT, FOR AN ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS AS THIS ONE - UNLESS YOU CAN FIND A SEALED UNPLAYED A1-U & B1-U MATRIX.

THE FRONT AND BACK COVER IS FREE FROM ANY RIPS, TEARS, DIRT, OR FADING IN COLOUR  WITH SOME SUPER SHARP RAZORED EDGES. AN INTACT SPINE, (TOP COVER AND SIDE BOTH HAVE THE TITLE AND CATALOUGE NUMBER PRINTED CLEARLY). A VERY SMALL DENT  ON THE CATALOUGE NUMBER AT SIDE. NO HANDWRITING OF NAMES IN ANY INK OR BIRO. A TOTAL STUNNER THE BEST ARTWORK YOU COULD WISH FOR. NO LOOSING OF GLUE, THE ORIGINAL DUST COVER INNER IS INCLUDED.

THE LABELS ARE ULTRA BRIGHT AND HAVE BEEN INSPECTED UNDER INTENSE ILLUMINATION, SIDE 1 HAS 2 TINY SPINDLES, WHILE SIDE 2 HAS A GOOD FEW, ALTHOUGH YOU CAN ONLY SEE ANY DEAD CENTER OF THE RECORD WHILST IN BRIGHT LIGHT. IF COUNTED MAYBE (7) FOR ME THIS IS BEING EXTREMELY CRITICAL, AS IT WAS ONLY PLAYED AT HOME, NEVER TAKEN OUT OF ITS HOME AND NOW BEEN OVER 3 DECADES PLUS IN STORAGE.THE LABELS HAVE THE GRAMOPHONE RIMS, AND MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN AT THE BOTTOM. NO WEAR OR TEAR, NO RIPS, OR HANDRITING OF NAMES.                                       

THE VINYL IS A REAL FIRST CLASS SHINING EXAMPLE NO JUMPS, SKIPS, SCRATCHES, POPS, DUST. A COUPLE OF MINISCULE WISPY HAIRLINES FROM DUST COVER STORAGE, OF THE RECORD BEING TAKEN IN AND OUT OF THE COVER, WHICH I CAN SAY WAS DONE WITH REAL CARE. YOU CAN ONLY SEE ANYTHING AT AN ANGLE OF ILLUMINATED WHITE LIGHT AND EVEN THEN ITS HARDLY NOTICABLE, TO BE EXPECTED REALLY AS A PLAYED (BUT RARELY) PLAYED RECORD. THE RECORD HAS BEEN SCRUTINISED UNDER INTENSE BRIGHT LIGHT. THESE SMALL ISSUES ARE THE ONLY REASON I HAVE NOT GRADED THIS LOVELY ITEM AS MINT.

THIS ORIGINAL 1967 FIRST PRESS IN ITS GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE COVER, WITH FIRST PRESS MATRIX & PORKY/PECKO ETCH ON THE DEAD WAX IS AMAZING... AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE CLOSE UP PICTURES PROVIDED BELOW THE DESCRIPTION. I WOULD HAVE PROVIDED A SOUND SAMPLE OF SOME OF THE TRACKS, BUT HAVE AS YET TO INVEST IN THE PLAYER. Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
