Description

- DECOUVERTES 88 - editions kaluila KL 033

Surprising French promotional release in support of a Francophone music competition, with winning compositions from different countries. Choice cuts include 'Babylone', a stunning, lounging caribean-balearic song by Haitian singer Beethova Obas (only found on this LP), the jazz funk rock 'Hijez' by Karavan from Tunesia, and 'Gira so, gira si', a minimal, haunting whispered vocal over the traditional inanga stringed instrument, brilliant!
