Vienna chamber music festival with The Vienna Octet, The Vienna Mozart Ensemble, The Weller Quartet, Clifford Curzon and Willi Boskovsky. See the picture for the side analyses. Rich string tone as usual for a an SXL WB GR!!!
Original box-set of four records. Booklet incuded. Decca UK WB GR (all 4 records) with "MADE IN ENGLAND" at 10 o'clock (to my knowledge a "ORIGINAL RECORDING" does not exist, although I have never seen one). Cat. SXL 6238 ZAL 6143/6854-2G/2W; SXL 6239 ZAL 4451/52 1E/3M: SXL 6240 ZAL 7235/36- with the audiophile 1W/1W stampers; SXL 6241 ZAL 4069/70-2E/3E 6D/1D/2M/2E. Box EX+ (minor shelf wear). Records: 6238 NM, 6239 NM- (one very small mark causes 1 soft tic), 6240 NM and 6241 NM.
