RAVEL - RAPSODIE ESPAGNOLE
PIERRE MONTEUX / LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
VINYL GRADES AS FOLLOWS;
SIDE 1. VISUALY EXCELLENT WITH ONLY A FINE BAG SCUFF - SOUNDS EXCELLENT
SIDE 2. VISUALLY HAS A FEW BAG SCUFFS THAT CAUSE SOME VERY FINE TICKS THAT ARE NOTICABLE IN THE QUIET PARTS OF THE MUSIC WHICH ARE MANY. HENCE THE GRADE FOR SIDE 2 IS VG+
SLEEVE GRADES VG+
INNER is EXCELLENT
This is a very first press Decca SXL 2312 and has a sample sticker on side 2 showing that it was probably sent out to a record reviewer when this recording was first released in 1962. The vinyl grades as noted above but overall a VG+ The labels are excellent also with the sample sticker on side 2. The original Decca blue FFSS inner is excellent. The sleeve has no writing or other major fault, but there is a tiny closed tear to the rear opening edge and some discolouration; hence a VG+ grade.
