Absolutely stunning recording in brilliant condition. I believe this thick English pressed narrow band Decca to be every bit as good as an ED1 for sound quality. The heavy vinyl looks excellent with little if anything to fault and it sounds amazing with nothing in the way of faults and barely any surface noise of any type. This is a wonderfuly clean pressing that will be just about impossible to better. The only reason I didn't grade it EX+ is because of a small surface tear to the label on side 2 that can be seen in the picture. There are a few spindle trails that indicate that this record has been played but there is no lessening of sound quality. The sleeve has little to fault apart from a crease on the opening edge near the bottom, a couple of very light thumbnail creases and a hint of ringwear. The rear is still lovely and white and the original Decca inner is also excellent. I know that narrow bands are not as desirable as wideband and grooved copies but this one is every bit as good to listen to and will delight most collectors interested mainly in the music.
