Description
3LP vinyl box set from Decca's sought-after SXL 2nnn series. Wide Band grooved label. Ernest Ansermet conducting L'orchestre de la Suisse Romande in a complete performance of Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty.
Vinyl has some surface marks - mostly inaudible and not affecting playback at all. The worst ( really the only one you'd notice by ear) is a 1.2cm scuff on side 6 audible in the quieter sections, but record plays through smoothly.
The box has some damage - the bottom corners have split apart - see photos. There is an index sticker at the edge of the cover.
Please note that this item is for sale on behalf of a hospital radio station (charity) and comes from the station's record library. The labels carry station ID and index stickers, which could be removed with lighter fluid and patience if desired...
The 8-page booklet giving notes on the ballet is intact and in good condition.
