What you have here is possibly a ONE OFF UNIQUE ITEM OF PUNK MEMORABILIA the ORIGINAL 1981 UK TEST PRESS of THE DEAD KENNEDYS - TOO DRUNK TO F*CK single.
This item came from a radio person who worked at an alternative music shows at the time, and as a result was sent this UNIQUE item way before the official release on Cherry Red records.
The single was pressed in France (as most independent singles were at the time) for the UK market ONLY !!!, the dead wax reads "A Porky Prime Cut - Rise To The Occasion - Cherry 24 A" and on the B. side " I'm Around The Next Corner - Cherry 24 B", the die cut sleeve comes with hand written notes with the band's name, name of the song, and the release date: 18th May.
This is probably only one of a handful of copies pressed like that, and could be the ONLY SURVIVING ONE to this date, it is also in an amazing UNPLAYED condition (how could you have played this on the radio???).
The songs are: TO DRUNK TO F*CK / THE PREY.
The single comes with the UNIQUE PROMO ONLY HAND WRITTEN ORIGINAL DIE CUT sleeve, and The condition of the VINYL is EX++ (unplayed, but has minor sleeve scuffs), P/S is EX+ (only minor bends).
Don't let this copy pass you as you will not find another copy of this rare UNDERTONES / POWER POP / PUNK single very soon.
