Overall excellent, one small mark audible for 3 revolutions on side A on the track ?Not Anymore?. Some very light marks, nothing that can be felt to the touch and no other significant sonic interruptions. Play graded all the way through, both sides.
Jacket: VG++
Light general surface wear. Edges are Sharp. No tears. No Seam Splits. No Bends or Creases. Original US sleeve, medium weight cardboard. Description of Autographs below.
You are looking at a very rare and significant piece of New York punk history. This is the ultimate Dead Boys/CBGB's personalized Punk Artifact signed at that one moment in time in Lower Manhattan when a single pen passed among the band. Here are the facts:
This record and several others currently on auction were brought to our NYC store by the son-in-law of Hilly Kristal, founder and operator of CBGB?s. Hilly Kristal also served as manager for the Dead Boys. This record wound up in the store due to luck and geography. We are located halfway between the closet this record laid in for years and the club that still exists around the corner a few blocks away. This is a once in a lifetime random occurance that took place by sheer accident a few weeks ago and is now being offered on a world wide stage. A truly unique one of a kind item in a single one time only offer.
This is the Dead Boy?s debut record. The jacket is autographed by all five members of the band at the time of release, with unique inscriptions and comments to Lisa, Hilly Kristal?s daughter, who worked at CB?s and was a known presence on the scene.

The Dead Boys were essentially CBGB?s punk house band, managed by the owner of the club. Individual personal dedications to Lisa Kristal further serve to connect this record directly to the history of CBGB?s (the club, the family and the band) and the NY punk scene that radiated from it. And when is the last time you saw Cheetah Chrome write a full sentence?
